She was best known for being a master of disguise, able to switch from Union soldier, to Southern debutante, to a harmless grandmother.
Kate Warne is one of my heroines. She walked into the Pinkerton Agency and demanded a job as a detective. To their credit they hired her.

This is actually from one of the best-written stories I’ve ever read in the realm of fanfiction, let alone Avengers, out-of-context oddness of the quote notwithstanding. As long as you can handle size kink of a Hulklike magnitude do yourself a favor and read it.
YEAH agree, this is an amazing fic and if you’re like wtf at it then maybe get on board the Size Kink Train (or get on some other train and let us have this one; there’s not a ton of room on it for obvious reasons).
