COMME des GARÇONS x SPEEDO “Kokoro” swimsuits featuring the work of celebrated Japanese calligrapher and artist Innoue Yu-ichi.
Rei Kawakubo firstly used the”kokoro” which means: heart, mind, spirit and feeling, for the uniforms of USA team in 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Coming soon.
Quick note on my series of speedo-inspiration (speedsiration, perhaps!?) reblogs & photo shares: I would LOVE to also share kickass photos of female swimmers looking super sexy and stuff, but there are no photos of female swimmers in competitive suits. None. The few I can find are pictures of their faces or Olympic medalists posing in bikinis. Fuck that noise. I wanna see these women in their real suits with their sexy shoulders and built legs and everything. If you can find ‘em, let. Me. Know.

FOR NONSWIMMERS: I basically look like this now, except, for course, my suit is navy.
Everyone else: Today was a 1500 yard IM-free technique day of 50’s, fast and hard. Just like we like it.
